Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh wrote a letter to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Sunday, urging him to increase the state’s medical oxygen quota.
This is the second time in those days that the Chief Minister has written a letter to the Center, highlighting the shortage in supply.
Currently, the daily consumption of medical oxygen in the state is around 200 MT (MT), which is expected to increase to 250-300 MT in the next two weeks.
