Uttarakhand CM inspects construction sites during Kumbh Mela ANI | Updated: Jan 24, 2021 18:05 IST Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 24 (ANI): UttarakhandChief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, along with Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik and Chief Secretary Om Prakash did an on-site inspection of the construction sites on Sunday during Kumbh Mela. According to a press release, they started their inspection from Lal Tappad flyover, to Sukhi River Bridge, Astha Path, Gourishankar Island in Khadki, Bairagi Camp Bridge, Ranipur Jhal Bridge, and Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat. Chief Minister Rawat said that all the works are being done in a systematic manner and instructions have been given to the officials to complete the work on time.

Taking serious note of a complaint by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday ordered a high-level probe into alleged financial irregularities in the state Sheep and Wool Development Board. Gandhi had recently written to the chief minister alleging misappropriation of funds in the board in the purchase of food for sheep and goats in Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh districts. Taking serious note of the allegations by the BJP MP, Rawat has ordered a probe into the alleged irregularities, an official statement here said. On the chief minister s instruction, Chief Secretary Om Prakash constituted a committee headed by Agricultural Produce Commissioner Manisha Panwar to probe the charges.
