Nwoye Calls For Calm Over Protest Against Ex- Senate President, Nnamani By APC Stakeholders

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Against the backdrop of protest against Ex- Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, by some Stakeholders of the All progressive Congress in Enugu states, Dr. Ben Nwoye, the state Caretaker Committee Chairman, has call for calm. The concerned members of the party had in a statement kicked against a Stakeholders meeting convened by  Nnamani scheduled to hold on the 31st of May 2021, saying he lacks the constitutional power to convene such gathering. The group which issued the statement under a platform it termed APC Leaders’ Forum, insisted that  the former Senate boss, does not have the legal right as far as the party constitution is concerned to convene such meeting.
