Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar said on Monday that Prime Minister Imran Khan neither wanted revenge from estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen, nor will give he be given any concession. Prime minister s struggle spanning 22 years isn t against one person; we go by the name of justice and we believe in justice, Umar said while addressing a ceremony in Ghotki today.
The minister claimed that the law is equal for both the powerful and the weak in the society.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that he won t be blackmailed by anyone, adding that even if the government has to dissolve, the process of accountability will continue.
The premier was speaking during a meeting of the PTI s core committee to discuss the Jahangir Tareen group s reservations and other national issues, including Azad Kashmir elections, budget, and accountability.
According to sources, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar informed the Prime Minister about the meeting with the Tareen Group after which it was decided that the just demands of the group would be accepted.

Denies reports of the formation of breakaway faction in PTI

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will never extend any favour to Jahangir Tareen, adding that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should not “fly so high”.
He also said the members of the Jahangir Tareen group have expressed confidence in Imran Khan, and that they have decided that all issues will be resolved through mutual consultations. There will be no relief for Jahangir Tareen.
He said this at a reception hosted by Jahangir Tareen group leader and Provincial Minister Nauman Langarial on Saturday. The federal minister spoke to more than seven MPAs and later he told the media, “We are waiting for the report of the committee formed to resolved Tareen cases. We will solve our mutual problems together. We are all like a family. These members have expressed confidence in the Prime Minister.”
