Saudi Arabia s AlUla Gears up to Host Extreme E Racing Series

Friday, 5 March, 2021 - 08:00 Saudi Arabia’s AlUla will host the first race of the Extreme E racing series on April 3-4. (Extreme E) AlUla - Asharq Al-Awsat Saudi Arabia’s AlUla is gearing up to host the first race of the Extreme E racing series on April 3-4. The event is co-organized by the Ministry of Sports and Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and is in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s Quality of Life Program. The race is the latest addition to the string of international sports events that the Kingdom has been hosting since 2018. Ten teams from countries across the globe will participate in the Extreme E race. The event in AlUla is the first of five races that will be held in Saudi Arabia, Senegal in May, Greenland in August, Brazil in October and Argentina in December.
