The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announced this week that Pennyroyal Center had been awarded a three-year accreditation for two programs.
Officials said that Genesis East and Genesis West Residential Co-Occurring Treatment programs received the accreditation specific to ASAM Level of Care 3.5.
CARF established standards for co-occurring treatment that are required to achieve this level of accreditation. Officials added the standards ensure that individuals in treatment receive evidence-based, person-centered residential treatment services to address both substance use and mental health issues.
