Dagbanja s Rejoinder To A-G Going After Lecturers Who Bolted After State Funded Education | Crime

  One of the lecturers from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), named in the 2019 Auditor General’s Report as having vacated their positions after receiving state sponsorship to further their education has reacted to the report and said he has already initiated repayment under the terms of his sponsorship. Dominic Npoanlari Dagbanja, in a rejoinder to the publication of the report by Graphic Online confirmed that he was a member of staff of GIMPA and was sponsored by the Institute to study Law in Australia and per the rules, he was expected to return to the university after completion of his course but after completing the programme in 2016, he had not returned to the school as of August 2018.

Palmdeti completes duty tour of NIA The Head of Corporate Affairs at the National Identification Authority (NIA), ACI Francis Palmdeti, has gone back to the Ghana Immigration Service, his official employers. This followed the successful completion of his secondment to the NIA which began on October 3, 2017 and ended on January 12, 2021. This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the Head, Human Resource and Administration of the Authority, Ms Cecilia Erzuah. According to the statement, “The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has since re-assigned him to the Operations Department at the Headquarters in Accra.” Deputy Head of Corporate Affairs and Head of Training at NIA, Mr Abdul-Ganiyu, has meanwhile directed to act as Corporate Affairs.
