Eyes on Personal Income, Personal Spending and PCE Price Index data from US. After rising to its highest level since early March at 0.7286 on Thursday, the NZD/USD pair lost its traction and closed the day in the negative territory. With the greenback preserving its strength ahead of key macroeconomic data releases, the pair continues to edge lower and was last seen losing 0.15% on the day at 0.7234. Focus shifts to US data The sharp upsurge witnessed in the US Treasury bond yields and the upbeat GDP data, which showed that the economy grew by 6.4% in the first quarter, helped the USD outperform its rivals.
