The move follows the removal of Deputy Jailer Golam Saqlain, Sergeant Instructor Md Abdul Bari and Assistant Chief Jail Guard Md Khalilur Rahman amid public scrutiny after a video of a woman visiting the incarcerated Tushar emerged.
The jail superintendent and jailer have been attached to the Department of Prison in order to ensure a proper investigation into the incident, Prison Inspector General Brig Gen Mominur Rahman Mamun told bdnews24.com.

Senior Jail Super Ratna Roy and Jailer Nur Mohammad Mredha have been withdrawn as investigation is underway over providing special treatment to Hallmark Group General Manager Tushar Ahmed by allowing women to meet the prisoner at Kashimpur Jail in Gazipur.
Inspector General (IG) of Prisons Brigadier General Md Mominur Rahman Mamun confirmed the news.
Earlier on January 06, Tushar, brother-in-law of Hallmark MD Tanvir Mahmud, allegedly met a woman in the cabin of a prison official for about 45 minutes.
The woman was allegedly escorted to the cabin of a prison official by Deputy Jailer of Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Md Golam Saqlain, and two others. Senior Jail Super Ratna Roy was present at her office during the time.

A senior jail superintendent and a jailer were withdrawn yesteday from Kashimpur Central Jail-1 for allowing an inmate to spend time with a woman at a prison officer s room.
Superintendent Ratna Roy and jailer Nur Mohammad Mridha are among five prison employees to be withdrawn after leaked security camera footage showed a woman meeting inmate Tushar Ahmed, general manager of Hallmark Group, on January 6.
Ratna and Nur were withdrawn for the sake of investigation, said Brig Gen Mominur Rahman Mamun, inspector general of prisons. Further steps will be taken after [we] receive the investigation reports from the probe committees, he added.
