Ferocious and wild. This set from Austin’s A Giant Dog highlights the kind of experience that makes the Lonesome Lounge Sessions, sponsored by Lone Star Beer, so unique. For example, when was the last time the stage at the Lonesome Rose was used for a quick wardrobe change during the set? This was definitely the first. There is indeed a first time for everything.
Although this was a performance taped for a live virtual audience, this was also the first time A Giant Dog performed at The Lonesome Rose. Enjoy this dose of raw Texas Rock and Roll that, just like the good stuff, has been bottled up for a little while.

Rodriguez did what many fighters seeking a pick-me-up do he traveled to the New Mexico-based “Bad Motherfucker Ranch,” which is owned by the UFC’s Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, to not only train hard, but to play hard too. East Coast cult beer Yuengling pours into DFW for first time ever Yuengling is pouring into Texas.
Photo courtesy of the Yuengling Company One of the East Coast s favorite cult beers is uncapping big plans for Texas. Pottsville, Pennsylvania-based Yuengling is expanding beyond the East Coast for the first time in its 190-year history, and will be on Dallas-Fort Worth shelves by fall. For the uninitiated, Yuengling is sort of like the Lone Star Beer of Pennsylvania, and it inspires the same frenetic allegiance in locals, especially in Philadelphia. Its beer offerings are traditional (in fact, its trademark beer is just called Traditional Lager) and its portfolio includes lagers, ales, porters, and black and tans.
