Lyric Chanel, a young cancer patient who has gained the attention of
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and other celebrities, has lost her battle with the deadly disease at age 13.
ABC 13reported Lyric fought against brain cancer and anaplastic ependymoma for two years. In November of 2020, Lyric had surgery in the Texas Medical Center to remove a tumor, but unfortunately, the tumor grew back and spread to various parts of her brain within two months. Doctors informed the family that there was not much else they could do to save Lyric’s life.

Lyric caught the attention of everyone who witnessed her story on social media and even touched Beyonce, Cardi B, Trae The Truth and more celebs and social media influencers and community members who supported her journey in trying to fight cancer.
Beyonce sent her an Ivy Park gift bag and flowers that she revised after a surgery that made her smile and Trae The Truth has gone to visit her so much that he is now Uncle Trae. Bringing pastors to her bedside and calling her my heart on social media.

Everyone seems to be reacting to Governor Gregg Abbott s announcement about ending the mask mandate in Texas.
Houston residents, celebrities and the rest of the world weighed in on the decision, seeing that the state is ranking 42 out of 50 in vaccinations and positivity rates haven t gone down. Bun B in particular was heated about the announcement.
The Houston rapper took to Instagram to share his disbelief. He shared with his one million Instagram followers his disdain for Abbott.
Tory Lanez has a new venture and he’s kicking it off with some philanthropy.
In a tweet on Thursday (February 26), the Toronto native announced he’s launching his own line of alkaline water named Umbrella Water – and he’ll be delivering it by the caseload to people affected by the winter storm in Texas.
“Thankful to say I officially just CREATED MY OWN ALKALINE WATER BRAND,” Lanez wrote. “‘Umbrella Water’ .. THE FIRST THING IM DOING IS GOING TO TEXAS AND DELIVERING A WHOLE BUNCH OF CASES TO THE PEOPLE IN NEED … shit y’all ain’t got water … I’ll make it .. and bring it.”
