Private sector to give gov t 500,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses if 2nd shots delayed By TED CORDERO, GMA News Published April 30, 2021 7:17pm If there will be delays in the arrival of the second doses of AstraZeneca vaccines, Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion on Friday said the private sector is willing to give a portion of the vaccines they purchased to the government. During the virtual Vaccine Summit of the Philippines International Chamber of Commerce and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce, Concepcion said he was assured that the private sector’s order of AstraZeneca vaccines “are surely to arrive” in June. Earlier, the presidential adviser said that the private sector secured around 5.5 million to 6 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca. He also said that local government units also bought 11 million doses from the manufacturer.

For neighbors, it is normal to have differences. What matters is that we handle them in a mature and constructive manner,” the Chinese envoy said.
