Police vehicles crowded the edge of Kukagami Lake Road Monday afternoon after a burned vehicle was found with human remains inside.
The OPP said officers responded to the grisly scene shortly before 1:30 p.m., along with the Markstay-Warren Fire Department.

The vehicle was located about five kilometres north of Highway 17.
“At this time, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed,” the OPP said in a release.
“The public can expect to see a large police presence in that area as several specialty units have been deployed to assist. Further information will be released as it becomes available.”
