Great Pup Named Penny Needs A Home & Family

Meet Penny! This beautiful girl was brought to TCHS because she needed extra training her family was unable to provide. Penny has lived with children in her previous home but would likely do best in a home with older children who can respect her boundaries . Lived with cats and did well with them- sometimes she would try to play with them too much.
Will likely do best in a home without other dogs as she was said to have resource guarding issues with another dog. Can be a little wary of new people at first but seems to warm up quickly! Slow and proper introductions over time are always recommended with any resident pets and people. In her previous home Penny was said to have some food and resource guarding behaviors- although she has not presented these while at the shelter.

Meet Winnie! This happy go lucky girl always has a smile on her face. This girl came in as a transfer from another facility. Because she was a transfer, we have very little background information on her! Winnie has been very outgoing with staff since she walked in the building.
She is a strong girl who will need to learn basic manners such as not pulling during walks, no jumping, etc. It is unknown if she is house trained, so her new owners should be prepared to practice Winnie s potty schedule in her new home.
