Children s art festival Golden Bee underway in Klimovichi
This year s edition of the international children s art festival Golden Bee has brought together more than 400 participants from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and Serbia. The festival is running in Klimovichi on 28-30 May. The program of the first day of the festival includes competitions in vocal art, choreography, and visual art as well as a party for the organizers and participants to get to know each other. The opening of the international festival Golden Ball is also scheduled for 28 May.

âThe Golden Bee Skincareâ won the first semi-final of BillerudKorsnäsâ design competition PIDA â Packaging Impact Design Award. The winning packaging concept was designed for a skincare product and did not only win PIDA Gold Award â the finest prize of the competition â but also the distinction âHighest level of Innovationâ. We look forward to the fourth celebration of World Bee Day. On the initiative of the Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association, the Republic of Slovenia proposed that the United Nations Organisation proclaim 20 May as World Bee Day. The aim of the initiative is to draw the attention of the international public to the importance of bee conservation every year and remind the public that we all depend on bees and other pollinators. What would you like to stress on this year s World Bee Day? What is its motto?
World Bee Day offers the opportunity to think about beekeeping and wild pollinators every year. They are both good indicators of the preservation of our environment. We can be extremely proud in Slovenia to have a great environment for the development and existence of beekeeping.
