Donald was born at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston on Jan. 5, 1981. Donald was predeceased by his mother, Kathy Lynn Schilling; and his maternal grandparents. He is survived by his three children, Gavin, Alivia and Danica; his father, Donald Schilling Sr.; his sister, Melissa and her spouse, Jeremiah Musselman; his companion, Christine Berryman; as well as many aunts and uncles; and lots of cousins. He had numerous close friends who can attest to his heart of gold. Donald loved listening to music, watching game shows, drawing and doing puzzles. Virginia Peaches Thurman was born in Oakman, Alabama on April 6, 1932, the daughter of Grady and Lura Cooper. She lived her childhood in Oakman until her family moved to Union County during her adolescent years. She lived in the New Albany area into her young adulthood. She attended Macedonia High School and met her present husband, Bill Pop Thurman in Tupelo in 1971. She and Bill were married on September 18, 1971. Bill was a Senior Economist with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and his job required him to travel to 8 states. During their first years of marriage, she often traveled with him much of the time. Later, they moved to Atlanta, Georgia for several years where Bill was officially based. In 1979 they moved to Jacksonville, Florida where they lived for 16 years. After Bill retired, they bought a motor home, traveled and lived in it for 6 years. Share Lulie Opal Webber BELGRADE – Lulie Opal Webber, 99, died at home on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. She was born in Sidney on Oct. 18, 1921 to Clifton Davis and Hattie Mae (Burke) Tilton. She graduated from Williams High School after spending her high school years boarding in Oakland with friends from Sidney and grew up on the family farm. At 55, Lulie earned an associate’s degree from Mid-State Business School in Augusta. Lulie lived all of her life in Sidney until moving to her daughter’s in Belgrade in 2003. In her 99 years, she adapted, adjusted, and accepted many changes, hardships, and challenges, as well as, pleasures with a positive attitude, relaxed manner and quiet strength.
