A Nimbin man accused of supplying and manufacturing prohibited drugs after allegedly committing an aggravated break and enter has been granted a lengthy delay in his case.
Aiden Christopher Brown, also referred to as Aydin Brown, had his case mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on April 16.
The 33-year-old faces charges of remaining on enclosed lands without a lawful excuse, possessing a prohibited drug and aggravated break and enter with intent knowing the person there with the intention to stalk and intimidate.
Police allege the aggravated break and enter charge occurred in a Yagoona home where he‘d previously been living as part of his bail conditions.

Subscriber only A man accused of leaving a foot imprint on his victim when he allegedly robbed him in Tweed Heads South has pleaded not guilty to the offence. Jarrod Steven Skimmings matter was mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on April 16. Mr Skimmings did not appear. Police allege Mr Skimmings robbed Andrew McPherson of his wallet and mobile phone in Tweed Heads South shortly before midnight on January 1 this year. He is further alleged to have possessed a key belonging to a vehicle on January 8. In court last Friday the charge of robbery simplicita was withdrawn in favour of an aggravated robbery charge.

Subscriber only A man accused of murder after an alleged assault in Tweed Heads is expected to proceed to a higher court upon his next court date following an expert report being complete. The matter of Michael Charles Cook was mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on April 16. Mr Cook was legally represented and did not appear. The 49-year-old faces charges of murder and recklessly causing grievous bodily harm over an alleged 2019 incident. Police allege Mr Cook caused the death of 54-year-old Kevin John Carney by kicking him in the back of the head at an address on Kennedy Dr, Tweed Heads on May 15, 2019.
