90210 s Trevor Donovan Comments on Older Actors Playing Teens: Get Over It
Trevor Donovan is sharing his thoughts on an online debate over whether older actors should play teenage characters.
The 40-year-old actor most famously played the role of Teddy Montgomery on The CW’s 90210 reboot series. He was 28 when his character was introduced in season two and he turned 29 soon after his first appearance on the show.
Teddy was a high school student at West Beverly High for two of the seasons in which
Trevor played the character.
Trevor decided to speak out on Twitter on Monday (July 26) in response to TheWrap tweeting about 10 actors who “were WAY too old to play teens.” While he was not named in the article, he decided to defend the actors who were.
