Mirmil Products is moving its manufacturing facility from Quinte West to Campbellford, which is welcome news for Trent Hills, the municipality’s mayor said.
Mirmil Products is a custom architectural millwork company that caters to work in multiple millwork fields such as entertainment, gaming, institutional and multi-residential. Its current Quinte West facility is 64,000 square feet containing the latest equipment to accommodate a wide range of projects from laminate casework to high-end architectural millwork.
“It’s great news for us,” Bob Crate, Trent Hills mayor, told the Brighton Independent.
“Mirmil is a great employer to start with?and we’re really pleased with what’s happened.”

Quinte Humane Society officials are asking Hastings County and its member municipalities to match individual donations toward its construction of a new building.
Society representatives made the request Tuesday during the online monthly meeting of the county’s finance committee.

TRENT HILLS The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has now charged two people with second degree murder in connection with a death in Trent Hills.
On Saturday, March 27, 2021, at approximately 7:19 p.m., members of the Northumberland Detachment of the OPP responded to an incident at a residence in Trent Hills where the home owner John Wesley was located in an unresponsive state. Mr. Wesley was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. As a result of the investigation the death was considered as suspicious.
