Two Londoners face charges after police seized a cache of weapons, including a flamethrower, and cocaine valued at more than $100,000.
Members of the street gang unit carried out searches on Fieldgate Circle, southeast of Trafalgar Street and Clarke Road, and Marconi Boulevard on Friday.

Investigators seized a .22-calibre rifle, a prohibited knife, 910 grams of cocaine valued at $109,000, seven grams of Phenacetin, a cocaine press, a bulletproof vest, two expandable batons, jewelry, two cellphones, a money counter, $10,000 in cash and a flamethrower.

A 19-year-old woman was in a bedroom of her east London home when a bullet smashed through the window Tuesday morning, her mother says.
The woman was sitting in her bed in the second-floor room when gunfire erupted outside the Walker Street house about 4:30 a.m., Kim Taylor said.

“She came out into the living room, woke me up and said, ‘Mom, somebody shot up my window,’” Taylor said. “I went running into her room.”
