Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - The
Ministry of Finance has proposed extending the
reduction periods of several fees beyond the current expiration date of June
30.
The move aims to support virus-hit people and enterprises.
The ministry issued 21 circulars last year to reduce 29 types of fees,
effective till the end of 2020, to help people and enterprises overcome the
difficulties caused by the pandemic.
Among them, some saw significant reductions, such as the enterprise registration
fee by 70 percent, corporate information dissemination fee by 67 percent and
operation licensing fee for credit institutions by 50 percent.

Infrastructure development has been a major bottleneck in Vietnamâs economic development for many years, and data announced by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) last week showed that public investment disbursement slowed down, deepening the problems of the economy in the context that the government has been forced to give priority to COVID-19 prevention and control.

Seeing people throwing old clothes away, Hoang Hue, a woman in Hanoi thought she would optimize the life cycle of products.
“The thoughts prompted me to create and generate fashionable products from old clothes. I started with handbags, wallets, backpacks and necklaces,” Hue said.
To date, Hue has created more than 100 fashionable products from old materials. Half of the items have sold for VND250,000-750,000 each.
