It also cited an opinion of Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen who said that “red-tagging” is “the phenomenon of implicating progressive civil group leaders to heinous crimes.” The CHR said it is deeply concerned with “red-tagging” under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) of 2020 which poses serious dangers since persons suspected of terrorist acts can be subjected to human rights violations.

Berthoud soon to begin work on 2 commercial developments – BizWest

BERTHOUD Two new commercial developments will soon begin to generate sales-tax revenue for the town of Berthoud based upon recent approval of development plans. The developments include nearly 30 acres of commercial space, and one of them also includes 7.3 acres of residential space. First out of the chute will likely be what is now called Heron Lakes Commons, a 16-acre development at the entryway to the TPC Colorado golf course at Heron Lakes. The development is on the northwest corner of the intersection of Berthoud Parkway (Taft Avenue in Loveland) and U.S. Highway 287. The site has received master-plan approval from the town of Berthoud, according to town administrator Chris Kirk.

Published April 13, 2021, 5:00 PM The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) Tuesday, (April 13) announced the temporary suspension of LRT-1 operations for two weekends this April for maintenance works. The shutdown on April 17 – 18 and April 24 – 25, 2021 (Saturday and Sunday) will allow LRMC to complete the remaining maintenance and rehabilitation works started during the Holy Week. The operator will conduct maintenance work on the trains, stations and various systems, including the scheduled replacement of overhead catenary wires. LRMC is also speeding up preparations for the commercial use of the new Generation-4 train sets in the fourth quarter of 2021. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has confirmed the deployment of public utility buses, running on Route 17 (Monumento to EDSA via Rizal Avenue/Taft Avenue), to support affected commuters during the temporary weekend shutdown.
