BlackEarth Minerals (BEM) is shoring up its graphite supply through a new deal with Luxcarbon
Luxcarbon is one of Germany’s major graphite and carbon product suppliers, servicing major automakers Volkswagen, Mercedes and Ford, as well as a number of large chemical corporations
Under the three-year deal, Luxcarbon will supply BlackEarth with up to 25,000 metric tonnes of high-grade graphite concentrate each year
Luxcarbon will also exclusively market and sell BlackEarth’s graphite products, which are aimed at the emerging electric vehicle and battery sectors
BlackEarth Minerals is up 171.3 per cent and trading at 25 cents per share
