How quick we are moving through that vaccine waiting pool, said Jacob Saur.  At Tom Bennett Park, Public Safety Director Jacob Saur said he s proud of the team s non-stop efforts.  You really don’t see many drive-through sites that can put out that many unless you’re talking about a large FEMA or drive-through site, he said.

(WWSB) - Manatee County will be booking COVID-19 vaccine appointment Friday with a new automated system. The Everbridge notification system will be used to book 7,650 appointments for seniors starting today at 9 a.m., county officials have announced. Vaccine recipients will be randomly selected from the standby pool, the county said. If you are selected, you will receive an automated phone call from (941) 742-4300 or a text from 88911 to schedule your appointment. You will also receive a text message from 88911 and an email if you provided a mobile phone number or email address with your registration.
