Allow us to shine a light on our goofiest resident - Gilligan (A187635). This 65-pound, 1- year-old American Bulldog is a favorite of staff and volunteers alike, and we would love to see this rough and tumble boy in a home that gets him.
Gilligan has spent most of his life at the shelter (through no fault of his own) and is a little wary of new things but has been recently going home for overnight visits with his favorite volunteer and we re proud of him for being brave while he figures out the ins and outs of normal life.

Are you a cat lover in need of a cat? Pocus has been with us for quite some time waiting for her forever to come along, and we just know that the right person is out there for her. This 4-year-old spayed female kitty enjoys sweet talk, climbing (despite missing two toes!), treats, food, talking to her person and chin and head rubs.
She does NOT enjoy the company of other kitties, fast movements, and two-handed petting - and can get sassy when she s done with being loved upon.

Lizzo (A167706) loves everything. She loves walks. She loves toys. She loves snuggling in bed with her human. She loves treats. She loves water. She loves car rides. She loves routine. She loves learning new tricks. She loves playing and puzzles.
Lizzo loves people and very few dogs (she d like to be an only child although she can ignore other dogs on walks.) Lizzo really loves cats, but not in the good way so we re going to step in here and ask that her new home not have any kitties or small animals.
This 50 pound (very petite seriously she s SMALL), 4-year-old pittie is so incredibly full of joy it s rather astounding that she hasn t found a home yet. We re so happy and grateful that she is now in a foster home while she waits for her forever to come along.
