In a candid chat about her health, the TV actress revealed that spending long days on the Leeds set left her eating out of boredom.
She explained that her health took a turn for the worse during her soap role.
Suzanne recalled: When I joined the cast of Emmerdale, my fitness really began to slide. I piled on weight because there’s lots of sitting around and eating biscuits between scenes.

She told the host: “I didn’t want to let go of that marriage. You have someone that your working with, that your compatible with.
“And then again, because of a lot of things that were going on around us, that we didn’t have control over, because we didn’t know how to control what was going on within us, as well.
“And when you bring other factors in, whether it’s family, whether it’s work, whether it’s your ambition of where you want to go with your career and things like that.
“It starts really messing with you if you re not stable as a person or as a couple.”
She wrote: That s a wrap. Holy sh t!! I m actually going home!!!!! 14 weeks of @aplaceinthesunofficial living out of suitcases and changing hotels every weekend. I don t think I ve ever been so excited to go home, NGL ready to keel over.

At the time, the UK had started its second national lockdown with Danni having since admitted she felt like she was missing it while filming for the Channel 4 show.
After reviving her first dose, the former Countdown star took to Twitter to share her connection to the woman who vaccinated her.
In response to a tweet from an NHS worker, Carol wrote to her 457,800 followers: This lady gave me my vaccination in Bristol this morning. We were chatting AND she went to the same school in Rhyl as me at the same time. #NorthWales.
Carol went on to talk of how their connection went further, as she had also attended a birthday party of the woman s brothers.
