The 2021 NFL Draft is just a handful of days away, but the Seahawks, for now, aren t set to factor into much of the event. Currently boasting just three selections, with only one in the top-100, general manager John Schneider and company will have to get creative to boost their arsenal.
Assuming they ll stay active on the trade market, the third and final day of the draft should wind up being a fairly busy one. Fortunately for them, this is where they ve found great success over the last decade-plus perhaps far better than any other team in the league.

We have reached the fourth round of our community mock draft recap. On Day 3, if any of these picks make the roster and get onto the field, then they’re a success. So far, San Francisco has gone QB, IOL, and CB.
107 Jaguars NYners
Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU
Looking at the Jaguars depth chart, a massive hole jumps out where the NT is supposed to be. It seems appropriate to fill that with a massive man. Shelvin is that indeed, tilting the scales at 350+. He’s more than just a space-eater, though. He’s got good movement and can actually cause problems on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Shelvin can play the 0, 1, or 2i technique, providing scheme versatility. Jags continue to maximize the value of their picks, landing the 85th ranked player on the consensus big board at 107 to kick off the 4th round.
Raiders GM energized by changes on offensive line FILE - In this Nov. 1, 2020, file photo, Las Vegas Raiders general manager Mike Mayock stands on the field before the team s NFL football game against the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. The Raiders spent the start of free agency dismantling their expensive offensive line, trading away three highly paid starters for mid-round picks. While most outsiders viewed the moves to deal Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson and Trent Brown as a setback for the Raiders, Mayock sees opportunity ahead for line coach Tom Cable to build around young players like Kolton Miller and Andre James. We are now a week away from the 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland, Ohio.
This will be another peculiar draft for not only the Las Vegas Raiders, but the entire NFL coming off a season in a global pandemic. This will be
General Manager Mike Mayock s second season drafting players during a pandemic, and things have not seemed to become much easier as time has passed. Mayock has had to be diligent in getting to know players virtually and focus in on Pro Days and the Senior Bowl without a NFL Combine, and he s also has the task of evaluating a few players who hasn t played a game since 2019.
Analysis: Which Guards and Centers Pass Seahawks Athletic/Measurable Thresholds?
While there have been a few unique exceptions to the rule, Seattle has generally looked for similar body types and athletes at the guard and center positions during the John Schneider era. Based on past precedent, which prospects could be targeted at the two position groups in the 2021 NFL Draft?

Apr 21, 2021 The 2021 NFL Draft is officially less than two weeks away and while the Seahawks currently have only three selections, they will still have a chance to address a number of needs on the roster.
Earlier in the offseason, Seattle opted to re-sign fifth-year center Ethan Pocic on a one-year contract worth up to $3 million. But even with his return for a fifth season in the Pacific Northwest, the pivot position remains one of the team s most glaring long-term concerns, as only journeyman Kyle Fuller sits behind him on the depth chart currently.
