Former Domino’s executive will oversee operations and development
Burger King has named industry veteran Tom Curtis as chief operating officer for Burger King Americas, the company announced Friday.
The division of Toronto-based Restaurant Brands International said Curtis, who most recently served as Domino’s Pizza Inc.’s executive vice president for U.S. operations and support, would be based out of the brand’s Miami headquarters. He will assume the post in mid-May, the company said.
Curtis, left, will report to Christopher Finazzo, president of Burger King Americas and will oversee field operations, restaurant development and restaurant operations. We are excited to add another seasoned expert to our leadership team and for our entire system to benefit from his impressive experience and operational expertise, said Finazzo in a statement, adding that he would help the brand in “rapidly scaling our digital capabilities.”
