It s all about postponing - Delano - Luxembourg in English

Eighteen professionals affiliated with Den Atelier are sharing their perspectives on how the pandemic has impacted the music industry and their own lives with Delano and Paperjam. They all answer a different question each week in a series called “What’s that sound”. Question 1: How has the pandemic impacted your sector and more particularly you and your job so far? Steffen Rabe, a booker with FKP Scorpio, who lives in Germany and has worked with Amanda Palmer, Pond and Gov’t Mule: “It’s all about postponing show by show (tour by tour) unfortunately. One of my tours I actually had to postpone for the fifth time. We can’t estimate the best touring period in future, so I am concentrating now on 2022. If an agent is focusing on a European tour, it is much more difficult because of the different situation in each country.”

As mass shootings continue nationwide, an art exhibit grows in Dennis

Cape Cod Times DENNIS Jane Lincoln has been creating a series of art pieces that she wishes she could finish. But mass shootings in America just go on and on. The Falmouth artist’s “ENOUGH” pieces, now hanging as a group at Cape Cod Museum of Art, are a statement against gun violence, featuring what look like shredded bullet holes set against a variety of colors to represent lives lost to mass shootings. There were 41 12-inch-wide paper representations when the pieces were first displayed together last summer at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Lincoln, who started the project in early 2019, made just one new piece in 2020, when the pandemic and lack of people congregating seemed to slow the pace of mass public shootings.
