FG must support COVID-19 research findings – One-day VC Bola Bamigbola A  one-day Vice-Chancellor of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Mayomikun Olawale, has urged the Federal Government to accept products of research efforts by Nigerian universities in combating coronavirus instead of waiting for foreign solutions to the pandemic. A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Toba Adaramola, explained that Olawale, a 400 level student in the Department of Medicine and Surgery was elected by other students as one-day Vice-Chancellor after he emerged winner of an essay competition on leadership. Mayomikun, who spoke shortly after taking over the administration of the university for 24 hours, said findings by researchers from the university were good enough to cure the pandemic.
