The New Jersey Devils have a plethora of young players on their NHL roster and a prospect pool that has a fair bit of depth and quality. The 2021 NHL Draft in July will represent an opportunity for them to add to their organization. As of right now, the Devils have eight selections across the seven rounds of the draft. This includes two 1st rounders which will allow them to add some intriguing talent.

The 16th week of the 2020-21 New Jersey Devils prospect update is here! There is a lot to highlight as Dawson Mercer made his impact felt in his first QMJHL action in months. Aarne Talvitie and Artem Shlaine excelled in NCAA play. Alexander Holtz returned from injury and immediately started to put up assists in Sweden. Benjamin Baumgartner broke out of his slump with a strong performance in Switzerland. Case McCarthy also made his season debut for Boston University.
