South Florida Parrotheads rejoice! Jimmy Buffett will be doing some shows next month, with social distancing in mind.
It s billed as an intimate Jimmy Buffett experience.
Four concerts will be performed on four separate nights from May 13th to 18th at the historic Old School Square in Delray Beach.
Concert promoters say not being on tour since the pandemic hit has resulted in a very prolific time for Jimmy, who put out his first studio album in seven years. Buffett is performing four live shows in Delray Beach at the Pavilion at Old School Square. The four performances are scheduled for Thursday, May 13, Friday, May 14, Monday, May 17, and Tuesday, May 18, at 8 p.m.The shows will be his first since the pandemic began. Guests can expect both his celebrated classics and the less-known gems from his recently released album, Songs You Don t Know By Heart, said a release. The Pavilion at Old School Square was selected because it was one of the first venues in the nation to research, design and plan a reopening with a pod-style seating layout, that is safe and sustainable. The venue has 222 sectioned-off pod spaces that will be available for groups of up to four, creating capacity for
