8.50am: Train delayed due to medical event The Hutt Valley line experienced delays this morning after a person had a medical event. A Wellington Free Ambulance spokesman said one person was transported to Hutt Hospital in moderate condition. Metlink advised commuters there was an 18-minute delay from Silverstream Station because of the medical emergency.
7.30am: Metlink cancellations, off-peak routes cancelled due to union meeting NZ Bus routes 2, 3, 12, 14, 18e, 20, 21, 22, 30x, 31x, 81, 83, 84 will be cancelled between 9am and 3pm while drivers attend a union meeting.

8.55pm: Late night road reminders State Highway 58 Paremata roundabout to Postgate Dr will be closed for four nights starting from 9pm tonight. Works will take place from 9pm to 4.30am. Motorists have been asked to detour via Whitby. State Highway 1 Mt Victoria Tunnel will be closed tonight from 9pm to 4.30am for maintenance. Drivers should make detours via Newtown or Oriental Parade.
7.20pm: State Highway 1 Urban Motorway lanes are all open.
