BILBAO, Spain, Feb. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Medical device company Evolv, with the support of Microsoft and hardware manufacturer ZOTAC, has donated its virtual rehabilitation technology to three leading hospitals so patients can continue crucial treatment from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CALGARY Lunar New Year celebrations across the country will look very different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. In Calgary, in any other year, Chinatown would swell as tens of thousands of visitors excited to take part in traditional festivities visit. Tony Wong, President of the Chinese Cultural Centre, says the building and surrounding area would normally be packed with spectators taking in the shows. “In previous years we would have as many as 16 lions dancing with the golden dragon so it’s quite a spectacular show,” he said. There will be no such performance this year due to health restrictions in Alberta preventing large gatherings.

Though most events have been scaled down and moved online, Calgary’s Chinese community is still celebrating the Lunar New Year, transitioning from the Year of the Rat to the Year of the Ox.
A favourite for many Calgarians, the Chinatown Ice Sculpture Showcase will return on Saturday with five ox sculptures installed throughout the community: at the entrance of Dragon City Mall, in front of the Silver Dragon Restaurant, near the HSBC on 3rd Avenue, and in front of the Great Taste Chinese Restaurant as well as the Golden Inn Restaurant.
