Riverdale season five is less than a month away, which means everyday we re hearing more and more information about what s to come in this long-awaited season. As of now, we know there will be a prom, a time jump, and.a pregnancy. Yup, Vanessa Morgan, who is expecting a son IRL, just revealed that her pregnancy will be written into the new season of the show.
In a post on Instagram, Vanessa shared that she is finally on maternity leave after finishing up filming. Feeling grateful to my showrunner & producers for being so accommodating & writing my pregnancy into the show! she wrote. Also proud of my body for allowing me to still work almost 9 months preggo. Now time to have a baby!

It has been seven months since new episodes have aired and we still have another month to wait until the season five premiere on January 20.
One of the characters on the show is going to be pregnant in the new episodes and that actress just opened up about her role.

The Riverdale series five trailer has now been released and it looks like it s going to be a tense season. From the drama of prom night and graduation to the eagerly anticipated seven-year time jump, plenty of unexpected plot twists are expected for the Netflix show.
