CRUISE PASSENGER BEING MONITORED IN HOSPITAL AFTER INJURY

A female passenger of Seabourn Odyssey is now being monitored at Mount St John’s Medical Centre after being injured during an inland tour on Tuesday. The circumstances surrounding the incident and the extent of the woman’s injuries are not immediately clear. General Manager of Antigua Cruise Ports, Dona Regis Prosper says all requisite protocols have been followed in this matter. She has also made it clear both the passenger and her husband have tested negative for COVID-19. The crew of the vessel are now awaiting word on the condition of the passenger before departing St John’s, in line with the cruise line’s policy. Mrs Regis Prosper tells ABS News she is liaising with all stakeholders and the situation remains fluid.
