The estimated year-long road work calls for concrete pavers along Stockton Avenue between Second Street to Doak Boulevard, featuring concrete pavers, six-foot sidewalks and striped with a middle two-way left turn lane.

Di Quaresma is memorializing the events of 2020 in a special way.
The Ripon resident just donated a bench along the pedestrian path adjacent to Riverview Circle, located just south of Doak Boulevard not far from Jack Tone Golf.
The black bench, eight foot in length, will serve as a memory of those who passed before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With it will be a plaque inscribing just that for walkers, joggers and mothers with strollers to see.

At some point, the City of Ripon could look into a new Corporation Yard.
But that’s further down the road – the future will depend on the City’s growth in connection with funding limitations and the need for the ultimate facility, according to City Administrator Kevin Werner.
He’s scheduled to provide a Corporation Yard update at today’s 6 p.m. Ripon City Council, which can be viewed via livestream by clicking on to www.cityofripon.org.
