Suspect in custody in Wyo. homicide, arson investigation

Police officials in the Wyoming community of Torrington say that they have one person in custody, relating to multiple crimes including “Homicide, Arson, and Vehicle Theft.”
At approximately 6:10 am, a fire was reported on in the 300 block of East Valley Road in Torrington.
“While the Torrington Volunteer Fire Department was working to control the fire, additional information was received by our officers that was suspicious in nature,” Torrington Police say. “The fire is being investigated as a suspected arson at this time.”

Officers say they conducted a follow-up investigation and a deceased person was ultimately located in the 1300 block of East 17th Avenue in Torrington.
The Torrington Police Department has announced that they have made an additional arrest and filed charges against a female city resident after she allegedly hindered their investigation into a horrible accident that occurred on New Litchfield Street in August 2020, in which two cars that had been racing, crashed, and that accident took the life of 47 year old Watertown resident Sean Ryan.
According to a press release from the Torrington Police Department, Amber Sans, 23, of Avenue A in Torrington was placed under arrest yesterday, March 11 and charged with lying about her involvement with the suspect during the investigation of fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred last year.

TORRINGTON, Conn. Police arrested a Torrington woman on charges in connection with a fatal crash in August.
Police said on August 27, 2020, they were called to a crash on Litchfield Street near Hassig Road. When they arrived, they found two cars off the roadway, and it was reported that a third car was involved, but did not crash and had left the scene.
Police said witnesses still at the scene said a Hispanic male, wearing a blue shirt and dark-colored pants, ran from the second vehicle involved in the crash. The vehicle was described as a black-colored Audi A4 belonging to Rolando Vilorio.
