The Canadian Encyclopedia. At one point when he was low on funds, he received financial assistance from his Korean church, which raised $3,000 to help Choi complete the play and fund a performance of his show.

In 2018, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee decided to dispense some fatherly advice to his Kim’s Convenience co-stars prior to the cast’s first group trip to Los Angeles.
