Dec 22, 2020 A fire last month at United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Ogdensburg may have been a factor in a deadly coronavirus outbreak there. Many residents and staff were evacuated, and could have spread the virus.

Worried the fire would spread into the residential area, United Helpers CEO Steve Knight said many residents were taken outside. We had to evacuate people out into the parking lot, Knight said. And that mixed everyone together.
