Award-winning film and TV actress Hlubi Mboya-Arnold says she had to go the extra mile to get herself ready for her gritty lead role in Netflix’s new child sex trafficking film
I Am All Girls.
The actress plays the lead role of Ntombizonke in the thrilling new local film, which is set to be released next month.

Netflix on Friday dropped the trailer for itâs latest local production, âI Am All Girlsâ.
Directed by Donovan Marsh, the thriller is set against the dying days of apartheid and is centred around a notorious human trafficking ring that involves, amongst others, powerful politicians and Iranian sheiks, in exchange for oil, to bypass sanctions.
The spell-bounding trailer shows the chilling story that follows a special crimes investigator Jodie Snyman, played by Erica Wessels and troubled cop, Ntombizonke played by Hlubi Mboya.
The two form an unlikely bond as they race against the clock to ensure justice prevails for the young girls who have been sold and resold in an ugly ring of child trafficking.

According to a press release by the streaming service, the thriller is set against the dying days of Apartheid, centering around a notorious human trafficking ring that involved, amongst others, powerful politicians.
Deadline reports that he film is based on real events that unfolded in South Africa in the 1980s.
It follows a special crimes investigator, Jodie Snyman (Erica Wessels) and a troubled cop, Ntombizonke (Hlubi Mboya). The two form an unlikely bond as they race against the clock to ensure justice prevails.
