Officers with the Tyler Police Department arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the May 13 shooting death of 33-year-old Christopher Eiglebiger Saturday morning.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV)- Tyler police report a man died after being shot numerous times Thursday.
According to police at approximately 7:30 a.m. officers responded to an address in the 800 block of Crosby St. on the report of a deceased male.
Tyler Police detectives and crime scene investigators identified the man as Christopher Frank Eiglebiger, 33, from Tyler. Police report the investigation determined this was a murder.
Tyler police detectives are actively working this case and following leads. No suspect has been arrested at this point. The case is still under investigation.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Road closures are planned in Tyler this Saturday as this yearâs FRESH 15 race commences.
The annual 15K, 5K, and childrenâs 1K begin at 7:00 a.m. on March 6 from the FRESH by Brookshires store on Old Jacksonville Highway.
Three Lakes Parkway will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until the race finish. Old Jacksonville Hwy. and Dueling Oaks Dr. will be closed off-and-on between 6:45 and 9:00 a.m. Highlands Lane between Three Lakes Pkwy. and Oak Hill Blvd. will be closed from 6:45 a.m. until the race finishes.

CHAPEL HILL, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler Police and the Smith County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two suspects involved in a suspected shooting.
An injured man showed up at a home in the 3400 block of Jackson Avenue suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to Smith County Sheriff PIO, Larry Christian. Emergency crews were sent to the Jackson Heights community area in Chapel Hill and the victim was taken to UT Health -Tyler.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A man has been arrested for shooting his weapon in the city limits, family violence, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Tyler police say.
Police responded to a call of multiple shots fired just before noon on Tuesday. Officers searched in the 1900 block of Parklen Street and S. Porter. One officer said he had heard the shots, as well.
As they searched the area for a shooting scene, a woman came outside and reported she was a victim of family violence. Tyler Police PIO Andy Erbaugh said the woman’s feet were bleeding due to glass broken in some incident in the home. They questioned a man who was in that house.
