Teoman made his entrance to kick off the show. Rohan Raja made his debut entrance whilst a promo aired from earlier in the day in which he discussed his unique upbringing.
1. Teoman vs. Rohan Raja. Raja took Teoman down to the mat straight away, prompting the German to give him a huge slap as a receipt. A few moments later, Raja hit a neckbreaker on Teoman and gave him a massive slap in return. Raja then verbally demanded respect from Teoman.
A date has been set for A-Kid and Tyler Bate s Heritage Cup Championship match.
WWE has announced that A-Kid will defend his Heritage Cup Championship against Bate on the Thursday, May 20 episode of NXT UK. Bate became the number one contender to the Heritage Cup Championship by defeating Noam Dar in a Heritage Cup rules match at NXT UK: Prelude earlier this month.
This will be the second time Bate has challenged A-Kid for the Heritage Cup Championship. Last December, A-Kid defeated Bate to retain the title. A-Kid pinned Bate in the sixth and final round to win by two falls to one.
Teoman defeated Rohan Raja (6:02)
Raja is the former Gursinder Singh who wrestled in the Desi Hit Squad in Impact in 2018-19. He was born in the UK, raised in Australia, and trained under Lance Storm, starting out around 2015. Other than Impact, he mostly wrestled in Canadian indies, where he won a number of championship, and in Australia.
Raja quickly backed Teoman into the ropes, but got slapped hard for his troubles. He came back with an armdrag and a bridging pin, later slapping Teoman back and demanding respect. Teoman took him down and started pounding him.
Teoman repeatedly asked, Who do you think you are? in German as he kept slapping him. Raja came back with a running crossbody for another two count. He later hit a dropkick and a pop-up powerbomb for consecutive near falls. Teoman came back with an attack to the knee and a jumping DDT off the middle turnbuckle.

(1) JOE COFFEY vs. EDDIE DENNIS
After a lock up, Coffey sent Dennis out of the ring and followed right behind. He beat him down a little bit before rolling back him back in. Coffey started to pound on Dennis’ mid section before a judo throw sent put Coffey to the mat and into a cravat. Dennis kneed him in the face for the first near fall of the match.
After Coffey escaped the cravat, Dennis countered a Glasgow sendoff to get another two count in. He continued to use his judo background to chop the stronger Coffey, getting yet another pair of near falls.
Hamilton’s Best of NXT in PROGRESS Volume 3 Report (02.06.21)
A reminder: these are old reviews, and while I’ve not updated any names from what they were announced as on the night, I’ve done my best to remove mentions of people here who are on that suspected persona non-grata list…
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Zack Sabre Jr. – from PROGRESS Chapter 36: We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Room… Again (September 25, 2016)
Ciampa got a standing ovation for his entrance, as a load of fans had “PSYCHO KILLER” signs to commemorate his final independent match before going full time to WWE/NXT.
Ciampa stalls a lot at the start of the match, which was a smart way to somewhat heel him to a crowd that was begging to cheer him. This started out as a grapple heavy match, with Sabre going for armbars early on. A lot of holds, a lot of reversals, but not much in the way of a clear advantage.
