Despite fielding calls from two of the state’s top Democrats, Greenwich resident John Blankley said he has collected the signatures required to run as an unaffiliated candidate, making it a three-way race for the state Senate.
On Monday, Blankley confirmed he had received calls from Gov. Ned Lamont and U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, both of whom are Greenwich residents, about his continued presence in the race as an unaffiliated candidate.
