Son of running backs coach Deland McCullough transferring to Indiana

Running back coach Deland McCullough’s son Deland McCullough II has transferred to Indiana from Miami, Ohio. He announced his decision on his Twitter page. New beginnings… let’s get to work #LEOpic.twitter.com/2Ex0IAe2jR The 6-foot-1 and 192 pound Deland II played in two games in 2020 and one game in 2019 for the Redhawks.  Listed as a defensive back, he did not record any statistics. Deland II is the second member of the family to sign up to play for IU since Deland, Sr. rejoined the program from the Kansas City Chiefs to be the running backs coach.  Class of 2023 4-star safety Daeh McCullough verbally committed to IU earlier this month.  Dasan McCullough, a four star linebacker in the class of 2022, is verbally committed to Ohio State.
