Lexington, S.C.-based Bentley Pontoons said it is planning to develop a pipeline to recruit skilled welders by partnering with Arclabs Welding School. Arclabs has three locations in South Carolina and one in Texas.
“Attracting welders is very difficult in today’s economy,” Bentley plant manager Dave Hagen
said in a statement. “We specifically need aluminum welders, since nearly every part of our craft is made of aluminum. Welding aluminum is much more precise and difficult than steel.”
Hagen developed the idea after attending a job fair at Arclabs Welding School and recruiting local talent. “I had multiple opportunities to talk with some really talented, interested and enthused young men and women during the job fair. There is definitely mutual interest. I’m encouraged,” Hagen said.

Of course, I’m not here to talk about who picked up the Performance Bonuses. No, I’m here to talk about the less conventional awards and give a rundown of sorts on the events of card. So here goes.
