Donate spare computer equipment to help people in Stockport get online
A new recycling scheme for donated computer equipment will help more people in Stockport get online
The DigiKnow Alliance, who are working to tackle digital exclusion in Stockport, have welcomed two new partners who will refurbish donated redundant computer equipment to help people in Stockport who aren’t online or don’t have a suitable device to access the internet. They will also use recycled donations to maintain the DigiKnow Device Library, which provides free loans of devices to Stockport residents who are missing out, including families with children struggling to access live lessons, job seekers and the socially isolated.
