Updated Dec 21, 2020;
A Harrisburg man is facing charges that include attempted homicide after police say he stabbed his girlfriend’s ex-husband earlier this month.
The stabbing was so severe that police were concerned when they saw the amount of blood in front of the home, and the ex-husband needed to have surgery to save his arm and his life, Susquehanna Township police said in charging documents.
Leroy Spann III, 52, has been charged with criminal attempt at criminal homicide, aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime and terroristic threats in connection with the Dec. 12 incident.
