An alarm went off at around 2.30pm on Tuesday (11). Officers found a silver Audi parked nearby, which was unoccupied but the engine was still warm. They then found a hole in the fence, close to where the car was parked, so entered the site and used a dog unit and a drone to search the area. Nobody was located in the site, but the drone spotted someone lying down in a nearby field and the person was soon detained by police. The suspect and car were both searched and two torches, gloves and a crowbar were seized. A 32-year-old man from Bradford on Avon has been arrested on suspicion of attempted theft and going equipped to steal. He is currently in custody at Melksham Police Station.
