Wright County Commissioners expressed several times since initiating a temporary moratorium on the construction and development of solar farms in the county that they want the process of revamping the aging solar farm ordinance in question done as quickly as possible. To that end, work has been moving right along.
At their Feb. 2 County Board meeting commissioners approved forming an advisory committee to take a closer look the ordinance that was put in place five plus years ago that may no longer afford Wright County residents the protection they deserve.
At their most recent meeting, Tuesday Feb. 16, members of the work group were named with the intent to hold the first meeting on Feb. 24.

NEW BEDFORD - Angeline E. “Angel” (Watts) Baldwin, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home in New Bedford. Angel had touched the lives of so many people. She grew up in the Mansfield area to the late Raymond and Murial A. (Chambers) Watts.
Angeline had worked as an LPN with several healthcare facilities for ten years before waitressing at local restaurants for twenty years including the Orchid of Hawaii in Lakeville. Most recently she owned and operated the Crooked Cottage for several years with her sister creating semi-precious stone jewelry and artisan goods.

Tech Data announced that David Watts has been promoted to the role of senior vice president, UK and Ireland.
As part of a planned leadership change, Watts extends his current role as operational leader of Tech Data’s UK and Ireland business to assume the strategic development responsibilities previously held by Andy Gass. Gass continues in Tech Data’s European leadership team with an expanded role.
Watts joined Computer 2000 – which later became Tech Data UK&I – in 1998 and initially held positions in sales and management before becoming general manager of the PC division in 2003. Subsequently, he joined Samsung Electronics as head of ita UK display division before returning to Tech Data in 2007 as commercial director. He was appointed managing director, UK and Ireland, in an acting capacity in 2016 before taking the role permanently in February 2018.
